Summary If you like this 3D project, please vote for my instructables on http://www.instructables.com/id/Printable-Foldable-Quadcopter-DJI-Mavic-Clone-Fram/. This project is still in progress and may undergo changes. The last update was "Remove the weakness spot near the rear arm motor, print all arms separately so they can lie flat against the bed & move other mods to remix." This was done on January 16th. I have also completed the first version of a mini gimbal and am still tweaking the BGC configuration, as seen in this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CRgjGHmq7c, posted on January 14th. Other updates include adding a head cover without a GPS box on January 11th, fixing body bottom arm holes on January 9th, and testing extended landing skirts on January 7th. All parts have been tested except for the optional extended landing skirt, which has not yet been tested. I also added an extended landing skirt on January 6th but it was not tested yet. On January 4th, I realized that there were no screw holes in the back arm after printing and had to add them back. This is just an idea for a foldable drone like DJI MAVIC; feel free to use and edit it. The new remix includes a bigger body compartment, bottom plate for accessing from below, GPS box, longer arm support for higher clearance but smaller space for gimbal/camera. Print Settings: Printer - Reprap i3; Rafts - Doesn't Matter; Supports - Yes; Resolution - 0.2mm; Infill - 50%. Notes: All 50% infill except all arms with 100% infill using PLA. I use Cura Engine for slicing it.
