I'm still working on this project, so some changes may be made in the near future. The most recent update is that I've successfully tested the extended landing skirt as of July 1st. However, all parts have been tested except for the optional extended landing skirt, which was added on June 1st but hasn't been thoroughly tested yet. I encountered a minor issue during printing when I realized there were no screw holes in the back arm, so I had to add them manually on April 1st. This project is inspired by the foldable design of DJI's Mavic drone. Feel free to use and modify this idea as you see fit. To create the folding mechanism, I used a spring that snaps into place when folded. The new remix features several key improvements: A larger body compartment for better storage A bottom plate that allows easy access from underneath A dedicated GPS box for enhanced navigation A longer arm support system for increased clearance A smaller space allocated to the gimbal and camera
