Foldable Deck Chair

I'm excited to share my very first Tinkercad design, a creation born from boredom. As I sat idle with nothing to do, memories of an old foldable deck/camping chair I made 26 years ago flooded back. This was the product of my high school woodworking class in 1993, and I couldn't help but wonder what it would look like if it were 3D printed. Unfortunately, I don't have the original chair to work from, so I had to rely on my memory to recreate its design. As a result, this model is more of an approximation than a precise scale representation. Nevertheless, I'm eager to see how it turns out and make any necessary adjustments. To get started, I've attached two STL files for your convenience. The first file shows the chair in its assembled form, while the second file breaks it down into its individual parts. These components are designed to fit together seamlessly, making assembly and storage a breeze.
