Foldable Antenna Holder for 250 Quads
thingiverse
This is a versatile foldable antenna holder for quadcopters, specifically designed to withstand potential crashes by folding into a compact shape that fits easily in a case. A crucial aspect of this design is the attachment process, which requires a 3mm bolt and nut for securing the structure. To further enhance functionality, 3.2mm rods are necessary for the antenna itself, adding stability and durability to the overall construction. Notably, the latest updates to this design deviate from its OpenScad roots, showcasing innovative thinking and creativity. A notable improvement is the fold direction, which now folds in an alternative manner. This new design allows seamless integration with the Mobius-Plate, expanding its application possibilities. To cater to different users' preferences, I have created two additional versions: one, a "Vorne" version tailored to fit snugly around the screws located at the front and rear of the quadcopter. The other innovation is the Mono-Version, optimized to accommodate a single antenna. This feature empowers users to employ the GR12 antenna from Graupner with confidence.
