Foldable antenna booster for DJI Mavic Pro

Inspired by the antenna booster from leenanj, I designed my own version with a game-changing feature that Mavic enthusiasts adore: its foldable design. To bring this innovative idea to life, I started from scratch and created two separate parts that seamlessly integrate together using sturdy M3x25 Hex screws. These screws are precision-fitted into the plastic hinge of the left shield, ensuring a secure connection. I utilized an M3 thread cutter to carefully tap the holes in the shields, guaranteeing a precise fit. The reflector itself is made from two sheets of 80x57mm aluminium foil, expertly combined to amplify signal strength. To protect this delicate component, I applied transparent self-adhesive foil on top of it. This protective layer safeguards the thin foil and ensures its longevity. To secure the reflector in place, I employed doublesided tape to attach it firmly to the inner side of the shields. The end result is a compact design that folds neatly together, making transportation a breeze. Whether you're an avid drone enthusiast or a seasoned pilot, this booster is sure to impress.
