Fold-up Laundry Hanger

Fold-up Laundry Hanger

My wife saw something like this in a magazine and asked if I could put my new hobby to use for making something functional! It allows you to hang up to 5 hangers on the wall. Arm will swivel up to get it out of the way when not in use. The nut and bolt were generated using the NUT JOB | Nut, Bolt, Washer and Threaded Rod Factory. The arm will swivel up, but may have problems staying up. I'll work on making it "lock" into place a little better when not in use. Instructions Print one of each piece. The arm is 180mm long, so it could be a squeeze on some platforms. In that case, you may want to try positioning it at a 45-degree angle (give or take 15 degrees). It could also be scaled down to fit but may make inserting the laundry hangers into the holes a little more difficult. I would also recommend printing the bracket vertically (as it is displayed in the picture). I'm afraid the pull of a heavy arm might cause some layer separation and break the bracket. And nobody wants clean laundry on the floor. Mount the bracket to the wall to a stud (preferably) or using wall anchors and screws. Insert the arm into the bracket, making sure the small holes of the bracket and arm line up. Push the bolt into the small holes through the bracket and arm. Screw the nut onto the bolt. Make sure it is not too tight or it could break the nut or bolt, or it could make it harder to swivel the arm up. Do your laundry.
