Fold-Up Baby Gym and Play Stand

I designed this baby gym for my sister awhile back and wanted to share it here. The alternative to this was either a plastic multi-colored monster in her room or some trendy wooden thing that was annoying to store away or take with them . This is designed to lock together and set up quickly, but also fold away very easily to keep the house looking nice, for travel, or to store for the next kid. This entire system is designed with Home Depot parts in mind (and I'm sure most other home improvement stores as well. You will need: 1" dowels - 4 for the legs, 1 for the crossbar Bolt - 5/16" x 18 thread, 1-3/4" long Nut - 5/16" x 18 thread Optional - 1" rubber stool feet 1 pack - Small 3/4"-1" long cabinet screws 4 x Leg Prints 2 x Dowel Sleeve Prints 2 x Bolt Holder Prints Assembly - 1) I used epoxy to place the nut inside the "bolt holder" so that this wouldn't be a choke hazard if the parts were un-assembled 2) Cut 4 dowels to equal lengths. I did 24" I believe 3) Cut 1 dowel for crossbar - I did 36" because I liked it wider but you could do 24" to match 4) Place the bolt inside each dowel sleeve 5) Place a dowel sleeve with bolt onto each end of the cross bar dowel 6) Screw the dowel sleeve in place with a cabinet screw at the small hole in each sleeve 7) Assemble two legs on each side, large flat portion of leg should be facing each other. 8) Enjoy
