I revamped Suitcase/Box/Case Handle by henryarnold, drawing inspiration from his original design. While I appreciated the original's aesthetic, I needed to adapt mine for use with wood screws. My only modifications were made to the handle base, where I reimagined it with three countersunk holes for 1-inch long wood screws. This redesign allows less than half an inch of screw to penetrate into the wood, ensuring a secure fit even in 1/2-inch thick plywood without protruding to the other side. The result is ideal for my DIY fume extractor box.
