The Fokker 60 was an advancement from the F-27-50 and Fokker Mk-50, featuring aerodynamic enhancements and increased payload capacity in its stretched version of the Fokker 50. Designed in the mid-1980s to address a need for larger short-range commercial aircraft in Europe, the Fokker 60 was produced until Fokker's liquidation in the late 1990s.
