Introducing an almost new Fokker F-27 Friendship model, rebuilt in 2016 with enhanced geometry, textures, and features. This nearly scale model has intricate external detailing based on available drawings. It comes with animateable parts like ailerons, flaps, and landing gear. The model is available in various file formats including 3DS, OBJ, LWO, and DXF. The Fokker F-27, a twin-engine turbo-prop commercial airliner, was designed by Fokker in 1950 and first flew in November 1955. Due to tail heaviness, it underwent modifications and a fuselage stretch. Produced from 1958 to 1987, over 900 were built by Fokker and Fairchild Hiller. After service as passenger planes, many were converted to cargo carriers for FedEx. However, all were retired by the end of 2009 with only a few remaining in service today. The F-27's success led to the development of the Fairchild Hiller FH-227 and further designs like the Fokker F-50 and F-60.
