This near-new, 2016 rebuilt model of the Fokker F-27 Friendship boasts enhanced geometry, textures, and features. Crafted to a nearly scale design with detailed external elements based on available drawings, it arrives fully textured and liveried. Animation capabilities include ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and doors. Formats range from 3DS to DWG. The Fokker F-27 is a twin-engine turbo-prop airliner that first flew in 1955. Its tail-heavy design prompted a fuselage stretch, adding three seats. Produced by Fokker from 1958 to 1987 and Fairchild Hiller under license, over 900 were built, including the stretched FH-227. Many served as FEDEX feeder cargo aircraft until retirement in 2009. The F-27 lineage includes the Fairchild Hiller 227, Fokker F-50, and F-60.
