This nearly new Fokker F-27 Friendship model, rebuilt in 2016, boasts enhanced geometry, textures, and features. Built to scale with intricate external details based on available drawings, it comes with several format files and is fully textured with materials for the featured livery. Animated features include ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and landing gear doors. First flying in November 1955, the Fokker F-27 is a twin-engine turbo-prop commercial passenger airliner designed by Fokker. Due to tail heaviness, it required modifications, including a fuselage stretch that increased seating capacity. Produced from 1958 until 1987, over 500 were built by Fokker and another 400 plus by Fairchild Hiller in the US under license. Many were later converted for cargo service with FEDEX but were retired by the end of 2009. This aircraft led to the development of the Fairchild Hiller 227, Fokker F-50, and F-60.
