This nearly new Fokker F-27 Friendship model, renovated in 2016 with enhanced geometry, fresh textures, and additional features, boasts near-scale dimensions and intricate external detailing based on available drawings. It comes with a variety of file formats including 3ds, obj, lwo, asc, dwg, dxf, u3d, and obj, and includes animateable components like flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, propellers, landing gear, and landing gear doors. The Fokker F-27 is a twin-engine turboprop commercial passenger aircraft designed by Fokker in 1950; it had its maiden flight in November 1955 under the control of Hugo Burgerhout. Due to its tail-heavy design, a modification and 3-foot fuselage extension were implemented. Production began in 1958 and continued until 1987, with Fokker building over 500 and Fairchild Hiller producing an additional 400+ under license, including the stretched FH-227 version. Many F-27s later served as cargo/express package aircraft, primarily for FEDEX; however, all were retired by the end of 2009, with very few remaining in service today. The F-27 led to the development of the Fairchild Hiller 227 and subsequently inspired the Fokker F-50 and F-60 models.
