This almost new Fokker F-27 Friendship model was rebuilt in 2016 with improved geometry, textures, and features. Built near to scale, it has an array of animatable parts such as ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and doors. Available in multiple formats like 3ds, obj, lwo, asc, dwg, dxf, u3d, and obj, this model comes with materials for the shown livery. The F-27 is a twin-engine turbo-prop commercial airliner designed by Fokker in 1950 and first flown in 1955. Initially tail heavy, it was later modified with a fuselage stretch to address this issue. Produced from 1958 to 1987, over 500 were built by Fokker and another 400 plus by Fairchild Hiller under license; some were converted for cargo use. The F-27 led to the development of the FH-227, Fokker F-50, and F-60s.
