The almost new, 2016 rebuilt Fokker F-27 Friendship model showcases improved geometry, textures, and features. Built near to scale with detailed external design based on available drawings, it comes with animateable parts such as ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and doors. Compatible formats include 3ds, obj, lwo, asc, dwg, dxf, u3d, and obj. The Fokker F-27 is a twin-engine turbo-prop airliner designed in 1950 and first flown in 1955. Tail heavy, it underwent modifications and a fuselage stretch to improve balance. Produced from 1958 to 1987, over 900 were built by Fokker and Fairchild Hiller, with many later serving as cargo planes for FEDEX before retirement in 2009. The F-27 led to the development of the Fairchild Hiller 227 and later Fokker F-50 and F-60 models.
