This nearly new Fokker F-27 Friendship model, refurbished in 2016 with enhanced geometry, textures, and features, is available for purchase. Constructed near to scale and intricately detailed based on drawings, it comes with various file formats, including 3ds, obj, lwo, asc, dwg, dxf, u3d, and obj. The airliner boasts animateable features like ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, propellers, landing gear, and landing gear doors. The Fokker F-27 is a twin-engine turbo-prop commercial passenger aircraft designed by Fokker in 1950, with its maiden flight occurring in November 1955 under the control of Hugo Burgerhout. Due to tail heaviness, it required modification and a 3-foot fuselage extension that added three seats. Manufactured from 1958 to 1987, over 900 Fokker F-27s and FH-227s were produced by Fokker and Fairchild Hiller in the US. Many former passenger planes served as cargo/express package aircraft for FEDEX but have since been retired. The F-27 paved the way for the development of the Fairchild Hiller 227, Fokker F-50, and F-60 series.
