A nearly new Fokker F-27 Friendship model, rebuilt in 2016, offers improved geometry, textures, and features. Compatible with multiple formats like 3ds, obj, and dwg, the model has animatable parts including propellers and landing gear doors. The Fokker F-27 is a twin-engine turbo-prop commercial airliner designed by Fokker in 1950, with its first flight in Nov 1955. Despite a tail-heavy design requiring modification, it was produced from 1958 to 1987, with over 500 built by Fokker and 400+ by Fairchild Hiller under license. Many were later used as cargo/express package aircraft before retirement in 2009. The F-27 led to the Fairchild Hiller 227 and further developments like the Fokker F-50 and F-60.
