This bracket is specifically designed for setting up a reverse Bowden configuration on a Folgertech FT-6 printer (also compatible with FT-5 models). It provides 15mm of clearance for a parts cooling setup, allowing for efficient printing operations. To install the bracket, place three to four pieces of blue tape along the guide rail, ensuring adequate rail clearances. Next, position the bracket on top of the tape and secure it using M3x.5 - 8mm bolts with countersunk heads. A 3/32" drill bit can be used to drill into the side of the ACM (a plastic component), making installation straightforward. Not only does this bracket prevent the bowden tube from interfering with the chains, but it also offers a smoother surface for the Y homing switch to make contact, ensuring precise and reliable printing results.
