Fogging Gothic Tombstone
myminifactory
Designed to be a centerpiece of outdoor Halloween decor, this 3D printable gravestone stands at more than 1.2 meters high for a full-sized print. Based on a celtic cross motif, this tombstone evokes the feel of a classic medieval graveyard. Adding to its grim appearance are a stylized bat atop the column and the script "Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate" at the bottom. This is Dante Alighieri's original inscription, taken from his famous words "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here," which appear on the gates of Hell in the Inferno section of The Divine Comedy. This design features a 2-inch input pipe with corresponding hollow tubes exiting from the front and sides. Connect this pipe to a fog machine using a standard 2-inch corrugated plastic tube. When activated, the fog machine will pump fog through the tube into the base and out through exit holes, creating a shroud of fog on all sides of the gravestone. This design is too large for most consumer 3D printers. However, after MyMiniFactory approval, I'll return to Tinkercad and slice it down into manageable sections that will be uploaded as individual files. Made in Tinkercad.
