This structure comprises metal sheet strips connected via interlocking tabs, forming a wire mesh support for capturing moisture. The sheet material can be 1mm-thick aluminum, weighing about 17.8kg per panel. If aluminum is unsuitable, galvanized or stainless steel may be used, increasing the weight to 26kg. The zigzag network is arranged between rounded edge supports, expanding condensation surface area (2.04m² net) from a frontal footprint of 1.15m². Orientated at 30° to the front, it directs water drops towards a collecting bowl using wind pressure. Rollers secure the net, similar to pre-digital camera film techniques. Factory-prepped panels are protected by PVC film, while robust pickets suit soft to medium hard soil. Modular assembly is possible with adapter plates, although tensioner diameters could be reduced.
