FOG LIGHT - Chrysler PT Cruiser
thingiverse
My front brake light on my PT Cruiser was destroyed in a minor accident. I printed out the exterior of the lamp. I used a transparent reddish PLA filament. The transparency of the lamp is a bit lower than the original, but still significantly brighter than the front lamps of the car, so the function as a headlight works properly. This part is just the outer casing of the lamp; you need to attach it to the chassis of the light. I used silicone after the glue dried, in addition to gluing it down, to waterproof the light. Saved 200 dollars! If someone has the same issue, perhaps this affordable solution will assist you. Instructions Use transparent reddish PLA filament with a layer height of 0.1mm My print bed was too small to print out the entire lamp, so I created two smaller sections. If you are printing the two sections of the light, use ChryslerFOG1 and ChryslerFOG2 and the smaller sections ChryslerFOG-Conjunction-Outside and Inside to attach them together. If your print bed is larger, simply print one piece using ChryslerFOG Good Luck!
