Aiming for an efficient fog net collection system, this design features a foldable mesh and a swivel frame. The mesh is composed of a combination of mesh, leather/cloth, and elastic materials to ensure easy folding and handling. The mesh edges are fixed with folded sheet metal at the top and bottom, while the side edges are stitched with thick cloth or leather for automatic folding guidance and crease prevention. The elastic material is stretched and stitched at four points, allowing it to contract and fold the mesh when released, fitting neatly into a box or cover. The swivel frame weighs less than 45 kg, making it easy to transport. It consists of folded sheets, 2-inch pipes, tube pieces, springs, and two thrust bearings. Thrust bearings are used to handle axial and side loads caused by wind. The frame is positioned away from the axis of rotation to ease movement. Flappers are added on both sides of the frame to maintain balance during winds, acting like tails in fighter jets. The mesh is installed using a spring-hooking mechanism at the bottom, ensuring it remains taut even in high winds. A foldable channel is included to collect and direct water to a central collector, regardless of the swivel head's rotation angle. A large foundation is required for the swivel effect, which creates an unbalanced load. If necessary, winches can be added using a simple plus frame attached to the top.
