In this project, the focus is on creating visually appealing corners that give a classic look to a 3D print while also being functional. The idea behind these corners is to provide a lightweight yet strong solution that is easy to clean and requires minimal assembly - just a small amount of glue to hold them in place. The versatility of this design allows for numerous creative applications, making it an exciting project to work on. The corners are specifically designed to fit 9mm plywood sheets, while the middle pieces accommodate 12mm plates. This toolbox measures 600*400*350mm and was constructed using a budget-friendly approach, with only 20EUR of plywood required. Additionally, two round 6mm steel pieces and four drawer runners were used as components. Most of the parts were glued together using ABS Juice, and the finished product is protected by a layer of lacquer. The project involves printing a total of 11 different files: Items _______ Pcs. ______ Print time ___ Print material ______________________ (hr. : min ) ____ (m) Bottom Back __ 2 _________ 3:01 ______ 8,18 Bottom Front __ 2 _________ 2:38 ______ 7,1 Top Back _____ 2 (R&L)* ___ 2:50 ______ 7,48 Top Front _____ 2 _________ 2:43 ______ 6,95 Middle Front ___ 2 (R&L)* __ 2:12 ______ 7,33 Middle Back ___ 2 ________ 2:45 ______ 7,82 Hinge ________ 2 (R&L)* __ 0:54 _______ 2,9 Corner Cover__ 4 ________ 0:25 _______ 1,2 Total: ________ 18________ 35:46 ______ 48,96 _______________________ 72 hours ___ 100 meters *Right and Left My experience with this project has been that all pieces print smoothly in ABS to achieve a nice finish. If you can print anything else in ABS, you should be able to print these pieces as well. PLA or other materials are also suitable choices. To ensure proper placement of the corners, it's essential to have them placed with the legs facing down at the bed and the actual corner facing the extruder. Support is used in the corners for added stability. #DAGOCULTS
