The Fodsports Motorcycle GPS comes with a bolt on ball mount. Many motorcyclists use a Q mount, or Q Lock.I decided to create a mount that would replace the ball mount and allow me to use a Q lock, as it is less obtrusive.Simply print the part.Unscrew the ball mount.Bolt the replacement mount onto the back of the GPS sun visor/power mount.Either use a new Q mount pad with the adhesive already on it, or if using an old one, remove the adhesive (all traces of it), and apply a new 3M adhesive pad 60x60.(3M Double Sided Sticky Pads Strong VHB Adhesive Tape High Strength Bonding Tapes are available on Ebay).Attach the Q Mount to the new mount making sure it is square.Leave it for a couple of hours for the adhesive to cure. Now attach it to the handlebar mount and you can have a nice slimline mount that is easy to attach/remove.I printed using Cura, standard print quality, and 50% infill. Took about an hour.
