I crafted a focus ring repair system after my astrophotography exposures were ruined by a bumped setting. The system includes a slip-on lock and micro-adjuster specifically designed for the Canon 200mm F2.8 L USM II lens. It truly works, as I discovered while capturing an image of Comet Catalina using this device. I intentionally left some space for velcro loops to cushion the lens barrel.
