This is my design of pocket size version of: FOCUS Board Game (a.k.a. DOMINATION).

Focus is an abstract strategy board game, designed by Sid Sackson in1964. Game can be played by 2,3 or 4 players. For rules go to:
https://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/Domination.PDF

I hope you'll enjoy the game as much as I did!

WHAT TO PRINT:
***** Before you print big parts I recommend printing 2 individual pieces and try if they fit nicely on top of each other if they do your printer will reproduce parts with good fit.

To enjoy the game you need minimum: a board and
- 2 sets of 18-pieces in different colors (2-palyer game)
- 1 or 2 sets of 13-pieces color 3,4 (for player 3 and 4)

You can also choose to print cover and storage lids that will fit over and under board and contain everything.

Board/Cover/Storage XY size is 141 x 141 mm or approx. 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 in so it would fit in 150x150mm bed size printer. Individual piece diameter is 14mm (approx 9/16 inch).

PRINT SETTINGS I USED:
Printer: FlashForge Adventurer 4, Nozzle 0.4mm, Layer height 0.2mm, Infill 15%, Shells: 3 Board / Cover /Lid can be printed without supports and no raft. Pieces need support in the center of the dome, I printed my pieces on raft to have clean bottom edge for nice fit.

BASIC RULES OF THE GAME:
Game is conducted on octagonal board. Each player choses color of their pieces. Images show initial pieces position for 2, 3 or 4 player game. Players take turns making one move in each turn.
Any field on board can be either: empty, occupied by one piece or occupied by stack of pieces arranged on top of each other. Player has control of all his/her color pieces and all stacks if his/her color piece is on top.
During move player can move own piece, whole stack he/she controls or move desired number of pieces from the top of the stack as if it was shorter stack. In the last scenario leftover piece/stack is in control of player who's color piece is on top.
Pieces or stacks can be moved horizontally or vertically only (up/down/left/right). No diagonal moves.
Distance of each move is determined by number of pieces being moved. Single piece will move to neighboring field only. 2-piece stack will travel to second field in chosen direction, 3-piece to third and so on. If there's not enough distance for stack to travel it cannot go in that direction, however part of this stack can move in that direction if player choses to only move part of the stack.
After the move piece or stack lands on top of destination field. if that field contained piece/stack then moved piece/stack lands on top of them.
After each move player that made the move needs to check if field he/she just landed on has stack taller than 5 pieces. If so player removes and keeps excess pieces from the bottom of the stack to bring it to 5 pieces tall again and returns stack to its position on the board. These recovered pieces are now: spare pieces, if they are players own color or captured pieces if they are opponents color.
Using spare pieces. When player turn comes he/she can choose to place 1 of her spare pieces (if he/she has any) on top of any field, piece or stack on board. This counts as a move. Again if piece was placed on top of the stack of 5pieces extra piece needs to be removed and kept by the player.

Winning: Game is won by the player who controls all pieces and stacks on board and opponents don't have any spare pieces to add to the game.
