Focbox baseplate drill jig
thingiverse
This jig is designed to ensure accurate drilling of holes that match the focbox mounting holes precisely. The drill bits used have a diameter of 4mm, and I opted for a 5/32" drill bit due to its compatibility with my requirements. The focbox baseplate features threaded holes for M3 screws, so I acquired M3 countersink screws from Amazon. Most kits come with a 90-degree countersink, which is why I also purchased generic 90-degree countersink bits. The triangles on this jig are strategically positioned at the reference edges to facilitate alignment with the focbox baseplate. A row of holes has been included for calibration purposes, featuring diameters of 3, 3.5, 4, and 4.5mm. This allows for multiple trials before the holes become excessively worn out. With this jig, you should be able to drill at least two aluminum plates before the holes require replacement.
