Although not strictly necessary at corner junctions, it allows for fixing without gluing and proves especially useful for open box constructions intended for exhibitions. Notably, the gap created is a mere 1mm - barely discernible to the naked eye. UPDATE: As model-making continues to evolve, a compact variant of the center spacer clip has been developed to seamlessly integrate with the original clips. This groundbreaking innovation makes it possible to construct sturdy boxes from foamboard without resorting to gluing - simply pair corner and spacer clips together for an impressively secure bond that still showcases a tidy 1mm space between sections. UPDATE: Three more game-changing corner clips have been added, allowing foamboard sheets to fit snugly at obtuse angles of 15°, 45°, or 75°. By providing a range of angular options, diorama enthusiasts can now easily create elaborate backgrounds using flat foamboard sheets that do not need bending into precise curves. UPDATE: Building on this series' focus on versatility, three new clips have been created to work with both 2.75mm thick foamboard and other materials, including clear acrylic sheets measuring A4 or A5 sizes - ideal for constructing striking display units that leave a lasting impression. For perfect results, it's highly recommended to print each clip individually and check its fit before scaling if necessary.
