Foam Spacer for OSVR (Flexible Filament)
thingiverse
I adjusted the lenses of my OSVR Hacker Dev Kit to fit comfortably on my face without fogging up. The fact that the designs are open source allowed me to create a spacer for the foam that fits perfectly. I used Polyflex to print the spacer, which provided excellent results. To attach this spacer between the foam and the headset, you'll need some adhesive velcro. After adding it, I found myself extremely comfortable wearing the headset. Print Settings: Printer: Cherry Pi variant Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .3mm Infill: 20% Notes: I used Repetier's "Lay Flat" feature to help the parts lie flat. However, after that minimal support was required.
