Updated on 12th July 2013, the connector D was revised to improve gap filling at the hinge area. Additionally, single files and a complete door set file have been added. The user has successfully printed all parts except for handles and catches. Feedback so far has been positive with minimal changes required. This 3D printable set of clips was designed to create a custom 1-inch foam enclosure for the printer owner's personal use, addressing issues with ABS printing and ambient temperature control. The clip design is versatile and can be used to construct boxes of any size. The hinges, on the other hand, are yet to be tested, as they will be utilized for a pair of 1/4-inch plexiglass doors on the front of the enclosure. There might be a need to add more holes in the clips for better attachment to the foam. The creator invites feedback and pictures from others who attempt to build their own foam box for their printers. A picture showcasing the box with top and doors has been added, along with plans to create a handle set and door stops once completed. These additions will be incorporated into the design at a later stage. Instructions: The enclosure was printed using ABS material with 20% infill. PLA can also be used effectively. The recommended insulation is 1-inch blue foam, readily available at local Lowes stores. Ensure that the foam is cut to accommodate the full movement of your printer. Please share your thoughts and images if you decide to create a custom foam box for your printer. **Updated: Handle set has been added to the design, along with an updated render image.
