Foam Holders for Monoprice Mini Delta

Clips are attached to hold poster board foam outside of a Monoprice Mini Delta. This keeps temperatures higher, preventing warping in ABS prints. M3 x 8 screws were used in stock cover mount holes to attach the clips and hinges. Attach clips by inserting them with screws fully retracted, then lightly engaging the screw before placing foam under it. Push the clip tight against the foam and screw down the rest of the way, avoiding over-tightening. Hinges are attached by fitting one to the printer case first, pushing a bolt through it snugly. Some sanding may be required on the hinge's inside for a proper fit. A second hinge is placed inside the first, rotating freely around the bolt. Line up foam and punch a hole where you want the hinge to attach. Attach with an M3 x 10 screw and M3 nut.
