Here's a design for a 270-degree swivel hinge that fits snugly into 3/16" foam board enclosures. Use a 1.75mm filament piece as the hinge pin, or feel free to experiment with items like paperclips. The opening is precisely 4.75mm. Printing vertically yielded the best results, and only the larger part of the hinge required supports. Once printed, remove any excess material and tidy up the design with a hobby knife. To assemble the hinge, apply hot glue carefully, making sure not to accumulate it on the open center. This will prevent the hinge from moving smoothly. With proper installation, this swivel hinge will provide smooth motion for your foam board enclosure.
