This is a 2inch (~50mm) and 3inch (~75mm) hemispherical dome used for shaping EVA foam, based on Evil Ted Smith's video from 2016 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DVUlJ8JJzY). In his video, Evil Ted uses acrylic domes of the kind used for making bath bombs and the like, but I couldn't find that were easily available where I live, so I decided to make my own instead.I've built in a support for a standard 1" (~25mm) round dowel to hold the anvil. Print Settings Printer: Hictop 3DP-11 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20 Infill: N/A Filament: Filamentum PLA Galaxy Blue Notes: Because this is half a sphere, you may be able to get away without using supports, but I used them in the centre of the sphere, just in case. Post-Printing ============= Smoothing You may find the 3D printed texture keeps catching the foam and stops it slipping over the anvil smoothly. I found that a couple of coats of filler primer and then a couple of coats of gloss varnish were enough to help with that, although YMMV and you might find that your anvil works fine straight off the printer.
