Getting the satellites to connect before takeoff for rescue mode is time consuming. It seems I connect a little quicker if I tilt the quad nose up allowing the gps antenna to angle more toward the south. Most of the antennas are mounted at an angle from the factory, this quads gps came mounted horizontal. This wedge has a 22 degree angle. By rerouting the wires you can plug it in at this angle with no soldering or additional pigtail. You will have to use slightly longer 3mm screws.
