To improve GPS reception for the Betaflight GPS Rescue and simplify setup, I designed a GPS Mount that fits perfectly with BN-180, BN-220, and BN-220T GPS modules. This mount should also work seamlessly with the Matek M8Q-5883 GPS featuring an integrated compass for INAV users, but be aware that using the Main Power Cable Routing from the back will interfere with the compass. To install this mount, simply utilize the stock aluminum standoffs and screws provided, securely fastening it into place. My primary goal was to eliminate the cable ties holding the RX Antennas and the main power lead. The Mount is designed with holes that allow you to position the RX Antennas at an 80° angle towards the back. By inserting a piece of cable tie along with the antenna into one of these openings, securing it with soft glue, and covering it with shrink tube, you'll achieve stiffness in the antennas and prevent them from getting tangled in the props. On top, there's a channel to route the main power lead upwards, keeping it safely away from the props. The GPS is attached using hot glue or another type of soft adhesive. You can still access the plug with tweezers if needed. If you find this design useful, please consider making a donation through my paypal.me account to help offset the time spent on its creation. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated!
