Flytron Strobon Strobe Light Mount for Skyhunter FPV Plane
thingiverse
I designed this enclosure to house the "Strobon" strobe light from Flytron, which can be purchased here: http://www.flytron.com/led-light-systems/99-strobon-navigation-strobe-light.html It fits perfectly in the cutout on top of the Skyhunter's fuselage, a feature I've been trying to find a purpose for until now. To match the shape of the fuselage, I printed this enclosure upright, as it sits inside the plane. Printing it upside down might work, but would result in pretty wide overhangs on the sides. (If you try it, let me know!) I printed it with supports under the bottom side for the circuit board. There are little posts that match the holes in the board, requiring really short screws with a diameter of about 2.5mm to secure them. The board is a snug fit and simply pressed into mine, so I didn't bother using the screws. A dab of glue will probably work just fine if your board is loose and you don't want to mess with the screws. The cable passes through the hole into the fuselage. I printed this enclosure with 3 walls and 20% infill, but you might print with thinner walls and less infill for a little less weight, although it's not really heavy as is.
