FlySky to FrSky Module

FlySky to FrSky Module

Last year when I started getting into R/C stuff, I wanted to keep costs as low as possible. I built my first quadcopters and airplanes using FlySky receivers.\nFast forward to today and I (like many others) am a huge fan of the FrSky Taranis transmitter. Instead of putting $30 receivers in each of my foamboard planes, I installed a FlySky module on my radio so I can still control my inexpensive planes with the Taranis. The fit of the module was...lacking... and the antenna wanted to occupy the same space as the handle on the back of my transmitter.\nI designed this updated module using the guts from the FlySky module, but instead of a fixed antenna, it lets you use an SMA/RP-SMA jack and antenna to clear the handle.\nThis design reuses the original coarse threaded screws from the FlySky module.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter:\n Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2\n \n Rafts:\n No\n \n Supports:\n Yes\n \n Resolution:\n .20\n \n Infill:\n 10%\n \n Notes:\n I've been experiencing some issues with the rounded corners of the face plate, as well as the inset "BIND" lettering (I've printed it on the long edge...rotated 90*) but final assembly hasn't been affected by it.\nMy print issues are not necessarily due to the model, but more because of my printer and settings. As such, I'm releasing this project into the wild blue yonder. Let me know how your prints turn out!
