This low-cost Karakuri Kaizen lift assist features an overhead hanger part that moves smoothly along a Schedule 20A pipe, which is hung from above. It serves as a superb demonstration of simple machines and parts conveyance. The device is constructed using 6000z shielded bearings, printed with PLA at 60% infill and five shells. For optimal performance, the shafts need to be sanded down to accommodate the bearings securely.
