Flymo lawn mower handle mount
thingiverse
The handle on our trusty old Flymo broke loose, leaving the base to rattle freely with every mow. "It's had its time," my wife remarked casually. But I just laughed and got to work. With a few deft cuts of the hacksaw and some quick filing, I was able to clean up the jagged remains and get down to business. Next, I headed for the 3D printer. The Flymo handle required a solid 0.3mm resolution, so that's what I set in my Print Settings. And don't worry about rafts or supports – anything will do. The most important thing is to bolt it all together securely with some strong M10 x 25 bolts. Longer ones would work just fine too. In fact, you could even go a bit wild and see what happens! My wife should be happy that the mower's up and running once again; now she'll have no excuse not to cut our grass for real this time around.
