Flykey faceplate mod
thingiverse
I'm a huge fan of Flykey goggles, but they simply don't fit right out of the box - unless you're a blockhead! I downloaded the STL file from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2498559) and modified it to accommodate the original Flykey foam. To make this work, remove your existing foam, stick on the new part with two-way tape, and reattach the foam. This simple hack makes the goggles fit an average-sized face perfectly. I also took it a step further by creating a backup and gluing on some foam from a FatShark replacement kit - I had to trim it down, but it works beautifully. In both cases, the result is a much better fit that's actually very comfortable. The reception on these goggles is unbeatable, but their stock form is pretty uncomfortable.
