These sets of brackets accurately aligns the z-axis components (10mm guide rods and threaded rod), securing the threaded rods by aligning and isolating the load from the shaft of the stepper motor, then transfers that load to the motor body. Misalignment of the motor does not affect the threaded rod alignment. To ensure accuracy, obtain supports pieces cut with a CNC machine such as a water jet cutter or laser. Avoid making these parts manually, as they must be precise to +/- 0.01 mm, or at worst +/- 0.1mm. It is crucial that there is no wobble or looseness in the 4 x linear bearings supporting the printed bed. These bearings must be of high quality; if unsure, replace them with high-quality ones. Required components include: * 4 high-quality cut support pieces made from 3mm thick aluminum (using the dxf file) * 4 F6000-2Z 10x26x8 mm flanged Bearing Ball Bearings to support threaded rods. These bearings must be of very high quality (ABEC 5). * 16 M3 x 10mm countersunk screws with lock-nuts to secure the bearings in place * 4 Depth Stop Collars Ring 10mm for threaded shafts * 8 SHF10 horizontal linear shaft supports for 10mm rods * 16 M4 x 20mm counter sunk screws with lock-nuts for the SHF10's * 8 M3 x 35 mm hexagonal brass standoffs (female to male) for stepper motors * 8 M3 split washers that go between M3 standoffs and stepper motors * 8 M3 x 8 mm screws to secure lower plate onto standoffs
