I needed a straightforward and adaptable way to support my timelapse C270 camera, so I created this simple mount using a neodimium magnet that was just lying around, measuring 12mm in diameter and 5mm in height. To secure the mount, I employed an M3 x16mm Allen screw... cleverly threaded directly into the same piece of material.
