FlyingBear P902 Printed Z Axis supports
thingiverse
While it's cool to have metallic supports for the Z-axis rods and motor, I think they're not really practical - you've got five elements that need to be perfectly aligned in various dimensions between them, making it extremely difficult to get everything properly aligned. So, I designed these Z-supports that are giving me nearly perfect Z-alignment. It's a bit tricky to print this design. The face that touches the aluminum slot needs to be very flat, which is why I recommend printing it facing up and using supports. Here are my print settings: Printer: FlyingBear P902 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Notes: Make sure the face touching the aluminum slot is extremely flat - it's best to print this face facing up and use supports.
