Flying Wing Tilting Nose

Flying Wing Tilting Nose

When flying your FPV Wing, did you ever just want to glance down while cruising behind your mate and see what's below instead of just what's in front? Well now you can! This is a FPV Camera Tilting Mechanism for a Flying wing. Remove your forward-facing camera and mount, cut out your blunt section to fit the new cam mount and glue it in place! This has a few pieces that need to be glued in place, including two replaceable bumpers, the main blunt mount, and the cam/tilt mechanism. Note: If you nose-dive into the road, rock, field, car, or tree, this won't save your camera! There's protection there for a light to rough landing. Best to print in PETG or ABS - PLA will warp in the sun. The profile won't match every wing's shape, but it'll be close. I used a small sub-7 gram servo from HobbyKing and did a curl spring control rod so not to damage the servo if it tries to drive it into the housing. There's a hole in the back to pass through the cables from the cam and servo. Use VHB tape or similar to hold the cam in place, hot glue might release in flight? I also have a Pan & Tilt version, but it protrudes too far in front and may get damaged on a not-so-elegant landing. The wing in the picture is the "Fragile Handle with care" 46" Hazard RC wing that I destroyed, hence the packing tape which is now a feature! My assembly with hot glue was a little wild so it looks a little manky.
