The 22xx motor mount is designed specifically for a flying wing configuration, providing ample space for an ESC, RX, 35mmx35mm FC stack, and a plate that accommodates a vtx with an antenna mount/tie down. This setup serves as an excellent power pod on foam board wings. Foamboard wings have a limited lifespan, making it easy to swap out the gear to a new wing when needed. When fully loaded with electronics, this configuration becomes quite heavy, making it most suitable for wings that offer sufficient room ahead of the CG. This allows the battery to be relocated towards the nose and balance out the plane's weight. It also keeps all electronic components clustered together, which isn't ideal for long-range applications due to potential interference issues.
