Assembly and demonstration video: https://youtu.be/zF34Cr0AbXw This 3D printed flying spinner toy is a thrilling experience. Load the spring via the wheel on the bottom, place the rotor on top, and push the trigger to send it soaring. The entire device is 3D printed from PLA, except for when ball bearings are used. More elastic materials probably won't provide the same spring tension as required. Assembling this toy is a breeze. Simply insert bearings into the top and bottom of the handle, slide the trigger into the hole on the side of the handle, and then stick the spindle up from below. The spring fits snugly in the spindle and the top of the handle. The cover will be a light press fit. There's a small hole under the rotor where a tiny pin can be inserted to keep the rotor spinning after it lands on the floor. If the spring breaks, it can be easily removed by inserting a pin into the hole under the ledge of the handle. This toy requires two 12x18x4 ball bearings. Although printable bearings may not provide the same results as real ball bearings, they can work in an emergency situation. To reduce friction, remove the rubber seals from the bearings: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&toolid=11800&pub=5575353675&campid=5338226872&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F1-5pcs-6700-6701-6702-6703-6704-6705-2RS-Rubber-Sealed-Deep-Groove-Ball-Bearing%2F283291137387
