<p>Land a 200 mm diameter flying saucer on your shelf or table. Uses a battery-powered LED strip in center ring.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>I printed everything at 0.2 mm layer height.</p> <p>Use a light color for the light ring to make it easier for the lights to shine through.</p> <p>The only part that needed support was the landing gear. I had the best results when using a raft. You may need to lightly sand the landing gear to get them to fit in the base.</p> <p>Use a battery-powered LED strip inserted into the light ring. The model is sized for a 10 mm width strip and allows for a battery pack up to 20 mm thick.</p> <p>I included files for both a one-piece top and a two piece-top. Print the screw top ring and screw top dome if you would like your flying saucer to have a different colored dome.</p>
