Assemble the blade using the square dowels. They were designed with a 0.1mm tolerance on each side, which works fine for my Prusa with PLA - you might need to scale them down. You want a snug fit, but not so snug that it won't be removable (unless you don't plan on taking the sword apart).

The sword can break apart in up to 6 pieces. You may glue some of them together for extra strength ; I glue half the pieces and can break it down to 3 pieces

I recommend printing the blade pieces with the long side on the bed, for extra strength. Printing them vertically is also possible, but they'll be more liable to break.

Model based on https://lkchensword.com/flying-phoenix

I used:

Carbon Fiber PLA for the blade

PETG for the hilt

TPU for the pommel

TPU shrunk quite a bit and made the fit EXTRA tight - I had to use a mallet to drive the tang all the way in! You may want to scale that part up if using a material that shrinks
