The flying kardan is the pride of the aethernal forces, a contraption that allows the pilot to fly higher and as fast as a dragon. Versatile and agile, the kardan provides almost total dominion over the sky and a vast advantage against opposing armies. Various dwarven kingdoms have sent spies to obtain the plans for build- ing their own kardan, but none have succeeded so far. Their creation is confidential information. The only known fact is that they are made in the Forging Tower, the structure where most of the artificers and tinkerers work for sunless days to give birth to their inventions. Surrounded by fifty golems, the tower is considered a fortress unto itself and not even members of the Mithraion are allowed to visit it without a formal invitation.
