I designed a flying disc or frisbee-like device a while back, aiming to harness spin energy to generate lift, much like a cross between a flying wing and a helicopter. Initially envisioned for use with the flat side facing down, I've discovered that it actually performs better when used with the flat side facing up, though I'm not entirely sure why this is the case. Feel free to experiment with both orientations to see what works best for you. This design can be easily scaled to any desired size and should be printed with a layer height that ensures a smooth airfoil surface.
